Steve McCurry. Terre Alte
Mart and Muse dedicate to Steve McCurry an exhibition on the lands and people of the mountains, a journey through the altitudes of the world. Afghanistan, Tibet, Mongolia, Japan, Brazil, Burma, the Philippines, Morocco, and Yemen narrate the symbiosis between peoples, animals, and landscapes according to McCurry's unmistakable expressive style. On a path spread over two floors, 130 shots describe the work of the photographer.
The exhibition is enriched by the Icons Room, a room in which Steve McCurry's career is briefly traced through eleven of his most famous photographic works. Among these is the famous portrait of the "Afghan girl" with a magnetic gaze, taken in 1984.
